Frying fish by stiab3 Every night, after the last fishing boats have hauled in their catch, Oistins town comes alive! There are many vendors selling different types of fish - prepared in different ways. You can choose from king fish, tuna, shark, dolphin fish (dorado, not flipper), flying fish, swordfish. And you can have it fried in a traditional way (seasoned and using a coal pot right b4 your eyes), or grilled. And there are many side dishes too! fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie, and coleslaw and so much more. The sounds of island music fill the air, making for a memorable evening out in a very casual setting! And you can wash your fish down with ice cold Banks beers or other drinks. PS. If you don't like fish you can get chicken in some places too!
casual. you can come straight from the beach Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: Oistins - next to the fish market

by stiab3 Harbour Lights is an open-air beach-front night club. It offers some of Barbados’ best nightlife with a distinct Caribbean atmosphere. It appeals to both locals and visitors alike. So whether you want to dance to some of the best club music around … or just “lime” by the bar on the free drink nights – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You are guaranteed a great time at Harbour Lights! Sundays, beach party nights are also a good 'lime' . $1 drinks from 5pm and it's very casual dress- you can wear shorts. On fridays, the dress code is stricter and you can't wear hats or any head coverings. FREE Drinks! Rum, Gin, Vodka, Rum Punch, Beer, Soft Drinks and Juices, all included with cover, great value for your money!
Very casual most nights - jeans and tshirts are the order of the day. Sunday tends to be more casual as the club opens and closes earlier. You can wear shorts and flipflops. Fridays are a bit more strict - no hats! Theme: NightclubAddress: Bay Street

HarbourLights by Fen Me and some guests from our Hotel went to Harbour Lights open-air beachfront club. One of the island's most popular, tropical and trendy night clubs. With its live music it was really good fun dancing on the sand, but very tiring.

mcbride's by stiab3 An Irish Pub in Barbados. Name that doesn't have an Irish Pub. McBrides is decorated with throughout with genuine memorabilia such as stained glass, photos of old Dublin and liquor barrels. By day, it even serves some fairly traditional pub grub. At night there are various activities and the atmosphere becomes more like a nightclub and, in my opinion, the places doesn't feel very Irish then. But it's still a lively and happening place. Wednesday Nights are reggae nights and the band Third Stone entertains. I thought this band was great and they play some good old-school reggae. Sunday Nights is probably best known for the 'shake ya ass' competition. Women shake their asses (and other bits) for a chance to win $200 of free drinks. This competition is popular with tourist and local girls alike. In my ever so humble opinion, the competition is somewhat degrading. The things people do for money . . ..

by Bgem Entertainment in Barbados starts in St.Lawrence Gap! A stroll through The Gap reveals a number of nightclubs, catering to all musical tastes. The nightlife in Barbados is very beautiful. I remember my friend who I spent my vacation with planning to go on the beach at midnight with her boyfriend for a midnight stroll. Even though I never experienced this, I did see some of Barbados at night especially the harbour and the beaches, not to mention taking a hot meal of Flying Fish and chips one night on a stroll in Bridgetown, St. Lawrence Gap. Don't miss The Whistling Frog's party nights - there is a street party, Karaoke and live bands to entertain you. Time Out at the Gap is where many Jazz entertainers choose to stay and to play and you will find some of the best names in Jazz playing right here. Reggae Lounge - this open-air nightclub offers the opportunity to dance the night away under the stars, surrounded by natural, tropical vegetation. The club offers a wide range of music, from reggae and calypso to mellow music and Rhythm and Blues. The Gap's other nightclub, After Dark offers an extensive bar covering the length of the passageway. The popular outdoor dance floor features live music with popular local bands such as Square One and Coalishun. A DJ provides music for those preferring the indoor dance floor. While waiting for the music to heat up, nightclubbers can sample the local fare of food vendors that assemble in the Gap! Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music
