The Boatyard: All-inclusive on a Tuesday

by morgenhund

Another Harbour Lights style place - packed with tourists as it is probably far too pricy for most locals to go to. All-inclusive drinking on Tuesday nights - as well as 2-for-1 deals at other times. Open late, with taxi rank outside. Smart casual although not too strict.

Oistins Fish Fry: Fish fry - Barbados style

by stiab3

Every night, after the last fishing boats have hauled in their catch, Oistins town comes alive! There are many vendors selling different types of fish - prepared in different ways. You can choose from king fish, tuna, shark, dolphin fish (dorado, not flipper), flying fish, swordfish. And you can have it fried in a traditional way (seasoned and using a coal pot right b4 your eyes), or grilled. And there are many side dishes too! fish cakes, sweet potato, macaroni pie, and coleslaw and so much more. The sounds of island music fill the air, making for a memorable evening out in a very casual setting! And you can wash your fish down with ice cold Banks beers or other drinks.PS. If you don't like fish you can get chicken in some places too! casual. you can come straight from the beach

Harbour Lights: Food, drink and entertainment

by MaineIslandgal

Harbour Lights is a great place to have dinner, see a show and drink the night into the wee hours all under one roof.We went for the dinner and show. The food was good home cooked and served buffet style. Choice of fish, chicken kebabs or steak. Served with many sides such as macaroni pie, salad, potatoes, vegetables. All tasted good. All drinks were covered under the cover charge. The show was a local band singing various top 40 as well as calypso/soca music before dinner. After dinner a variety show of sorts w/ the guests as the entertainment competing in various singing/ dancing competitions followed by stiltmen and a calypso dancer. After the show you had the option to stay and party the night away when Harbour Lights turned into a nightclub. This was great fun. Good for adults of all ages. We saw young couples all the way up to seniors having a grand time. Casual dress. If you like to...

Club Xtreme: Xtreme Raving

by luke850

According to the people at Club Xtreme, it was voted one of the top 10 night spots in the world. Whether this is true or not is certainly debatable, but it is definately THE place to party hard in Barbados! It boasts a number of rooms, including the main dancefloor, a chill out zone and a pool room. The sound system in the main dancefloor is Xtremely loud, they have loads of lazors and a well stocked bar. The club is usually filled with both locals and tourists, but be warned, its not for the faint hearted! Smart/casual

The Ship Inn: The Ship Inn

by sunshine_nik

From the front this bar looks like a traditional British pub but is deceptively large- it carries on for miles around the back and has a huge dance area! They often have great live music here too.Sometimes its free to get in but others there is a cover charge- according to the night.
