ONE REGULAR SIZE SUIT CASE AND LOTS OF PHOTO GEAR...... SNEAKERS OD SANDALS FOR MOST DAY WEAR AND NICE SHOE FOR SOME OF THE EVENING. BARBADOS IS LAID BACK, BUT HAVE A STRONG BRITISH SCENSE OF STYLE. PLAN ON LOOKING GOOD FOR NITE CLUBS AND FINE DINNING. SUNBLOCK.... YOU CAN BUY ALMOST EVERYTHING ELSE. YOU CAN GET EVERY THING YOU NEED FOR THE PHOTO AND DIGITAL NEEDS... THE BEACH IS PUBLIC ON THE ENTIRE ISLAND YOU MAY WANT TO BRING A BEACH CHAIR.AND BLANKE RADIO AND CD PLAYER

Small one! You don't need much in Barbados. Sun screen!! Hat, sunglasses, shorts, T-Shirts, sandles, swim wear, more sun screen. Some smart casual clothes for dining out as some places don't allow shorts. I wore linen trousers and my sandles which seemed acceptable and still cool. Sun Screen and plenty of after sun care also. Cream for heat rash too which I got! :( Film is VERY expensive if you are caught out. I paid $12 US for a film at a nature reserve when I realised I had left my spares at the hotel! Take a polorising filter if you have an SLR which will make sky/water shots much better Did I mention sun screen?

Although tropical climate, men shouldn´t forget to bring a long trouser and maybe a tie. Though not often recommended a not too casual clothing is appreciated especially in restaurants at dinner time. Think about how many photos you'll shoot, double it and take enougn films with you, they're pretty expensive in Barbados. But if you don't, you'll get everything you need at Cave Shepherd's (Bridgetown or Holetown - Bridgetowns's Cave Shepherd is much bigger!).Don´t forget to buy a oneway camera for underwater photography! Essential: Do NOT forget your snorkeling gear!! If not supplied by your resort there - bring a radio (recorder?) to hear (and copy) the soca sounds played on air there.

Sunscreen and Aloe!

Bring more than just swimwear and shorts. Some restaurants have strict dress codes and shorts are not always acceptable. Bring plenty of sunscreen and aloe (just in case!)
