Favorite thing: We stayed in the area in 1996 at the time of the surfing competition in November. The coast was beautiful. There are long shallow approaches to the beach so there is a long stretch for the rollers of the ocean to turn into surf.
In 2006, we drove through Bathsheba - the surfers (photo 3) were still there even if there was no organized competition. Our friend drove us up onto a cliff and looked back down on the town and the beach and the rocks.
Fondest memory: The beach is still as beautiful as ever, and the waves and surfers were still there. The sand is lovely for looking at and lying on. It is cooler here on the Atlantic side than on the west or south coast.
