Most Bajan restaurants either don't like any kind of smoking, or outright forbid it.
My boyfriend likes to smoke cigars sometimes, and he thought it would be okay to smoke a cigar in the RoundHouse restaurant after dinner.
Our waitress, using that Bajan charm of hers, asked him politely to put it out. She said, "As Barbadians, we are not used to any kind of smoke." Naturally, he did.
You could tell the pride in her voice when she said, "As Barbadians...." Barbadians are very proud of their country, but they're not used to some American ways, like smoking in restaurants. (A custom which is gradually phasing out in this country anyway.)
If you really need to smoke....you really don't need to go to Barbados.
