Go to Bathsheba, the middle east part of the island. Many people body surfing at the bay here. The Round Roof Inn restaurant has decent yet simple food, we loved the 'breadfruit' soup. You sit high above at the terrace of the restaurant, the ocean breeze blows your hair, touches your face, you have a great view. The restaurant has a mediterranean feeling from inside.
