A steady breeze and a good surf make Silver Sands beach a great kite surfing beach in Barbados. If you do not have your own kite or board have no fear there is equipment to rent on the beach.
If you are on the island when the polo season is underway, usually at the beginning of the year, then contact the polo club to see if there are any matches being played at Holders Hill.
I do remember a native coming around the beach asking people if they would like aride on one of these things! It wasn't much.I was one taking these few pics. It was a fun ride.

While at Rockley Beach, we saw people doing all sorts of water sports including kite surfing, which we had never seen before. It looks like a blast!
