	Scuba Diving Folkestone Reef

Folkestone Marine Park features an artificial reef, purposefully formed by the sinking of the ship Stavronikita which had been destroyed by fire in 1976. The ship rests in 120ft of water, less than half a mile from the shore.

	Harrison's Cave

Harrison's Cave is an amazing gallery of stalactites hanging from the roof of the cave, and stalagmites that emerge from the ground, with streams of crystal-clear running water that drop from breathtaking waterfalls to form deep emerald pools. The stalactites and stalagmites were formed over thousands of years and in some places the stalactites have reached down to the stalagmites and a spectacular pillar has been formed.

Discover the beauty of the spectacular Harrison's Cave in beautiful BarbadosVisitors are driven in electrically operated trams down through the extensive system of caves and at the lowest level point in the cave, visitors are invited to leave the tram and walk alongside a spectaular waterfall which plunges into a deep pool below .... this is truly an "awesome wonder!"

Excellent tour guides give all the historical information on this cave along the way!

Harrison's cave was a very interesting tour we took inland. There's really nothing in particular that sets it apart from other caves I've visited in the U.S., but it was still an interesting trip and worth doing if you have the time.

Having spent three weeks in Barbados, I wanted to go home with a tan to show off, so I spent a lot of time lying in the sun. In fact, I have never been so brown before or after. And, having been that tanned once, I seemed to tan easier afterwards and go a lot darker than I did before!

Hiring a car is no problem in Barbados if a little expensive, it gives you the freedom to see the wilder Atlantic Coast as well as the Caribbean side.
There are some fantastic beaches on Barbados, I would reccommend Mullins Beach, Sandy Lane and Crane Beach
