The underground caverns are gorgeous and should not be missed.
A drive around the East Coast is really worthwhile. You'll get quiet beach walks, tour a couple of the old plantation homes along the way and enjoy the magnificent butterfly garden.

South of Bridgetown and curving around out to Needham's Point, Carlisle Bay is the closest swimming area outside of the Capital. There aren't too many eating options in this area, though.

Built in 1905 with a grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, it's an interesting place to see. It's just a block or so away from the Old Synagogue.

The sunset Catamaran cruise is a must, also includes snorkeling.
It's amazing this cave-I just could'n stop taking pictures-the funny part is that I have about 10 more,but enough is enough!

As you can see the stalactites come in many shapes and sizes..... hehehe

We hired a mini moke to get around the island and see as much of Barbados as we could. Being our first visit anywhere tropical, we were amazed to see bananas growing alongside the road!
