Be ready for any type of weather
Luggage and bags: If you're here for a week a roller board and a large carry on should be enough to carry all the clothing you will need. Belize is a subtropical location and there are two types of seasons, the rainy and dry season, so cool and casual clothing is recommended.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Summery dresses, shorts, t-shirts and tanks, bathing suits (more than one), flip-flops, dressy sandals, water shoes, hiking shoes, casual summery attire.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I take my own shampoo, conditioner, brush, hair accessories, sun glasses, contact lens solution and a spare pair of lenses, my glasses, lotion, mosquito repellent, first aid kit which includes alcohol swabs, anti-itch cream, bandaids, my perscription meds (I am asthmatic), sun block/sun lotion,
Photo Equipment: I travel with my Sony camera, extra battery and charger, an extra memory card with 1gb memory and for this trip I also purchased an underwater camera
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: At least two bathing suits, flip-flops, beach towel, sunscreen, hat, sun glasses, beach bag.
Miscellaneous: Take along a windbreaker that you can use while on the boat as it can get chilly or suddenly rain, and don't forget an umbrealla.
Beach and water activity supplies
Luggage and bags: I recommend that you bring a beach bag, those with little perferations to carry all items you will need during beach and water activities.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Make sure to bring either water shoes or flips, towel, sunblock, windbreaker, hat, glasses and your own snorkeling or scuba gear.
Photo Equipment: An underwater camera so you can take some great pics.
Bring along a poncho
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The island is very casual and if you go in the rainy season you will get wet.
Shorts and cotton tops/t-shirts are fine in the daytime. Capri's at night.
Shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Bring along a lightweight rain poncho.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Don't forget the sunscreen and the mosquito repellent.
Photo Equipment: Bring extra batteries and lots of memory or film. It is expensive here.
The rains wreck havoc with cameras so bring some zip-lock bags for them.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring your own booties, and fins especially if you need a small size. Bring your own snorkel and mask for sanitary reasons. Life vests for children.
Miscellaneous: Groceries cost more than they do in the US, especially snack food. You might want to bring some from home.
