Lazy Lizard: Chill Out , major chill out....

This is the major chill zone in Caye Caulker. You can sip your beer or whatever while tanning or snorkeling next to the bar.
A few tables are placed in the water, but don't worry, the water is not deep enough for you to drown in - if your drunk body gives out:)

Food is also ok.

Dress Code: No shoes, no shirt, no problem.

The Lazy Lizard: At The Split

Belikin sign for The Lazy Lizard

The bar at The Split is every bit as popular at night as it is during the day. The main reason I think it's worth mentioning is because they have a street light there that shines directly onto the water, and you can watch the fish swimming around while you enjoy your drink. It's all open air, no walls, no floor, perched right over the water. Reggae music is standard.

Dress Code: yeah right!

Lazy Lizard: Laidback, reaggae and fishes at the split

Lazy Lizard in daytime

Even if you don't want to go out or drink or do anything, you have to come here! Lazy Lizard is situated right at the split (the beach), and it's a great place to hang out all day long. They also serve food so you can actually take sun and go swimming in the day, eat in the afternoon and party in the night.

But the best about this place is the fishes! In daytime there are plenty of fishes swimming around you in the water, and if you swim a bit out you see the bigger fishes. In the night they turn on two spotlights to the water, and the big fishes swim around in the light. It's incredible to sit there on the beach, drinking a piƱacolada, listening to reaggae and watching the small sharks and other fishes swim around. It's an amazing experience!!! :)

Dress Code: On one of the many signs in the bar it's written "No shirt, no shoes, no problem", and this really goes for the whole island.
