Paradise Inn, Crooked Tree

the man who had opened the room had disappeared but a nice young lady had appeared in the kitchen after we had asked the man if they served meals... so I went to her to get a confirmation that she was cooking just for us and to ask at what time they served dinner: she apologized saying she wouldn't have been ready till 18.30...

Favorite Dish: and when back from a walk a table had been set with a small vase of fresh flowers in the centre and near the plates two glasses, one of water and one of fresh squashed orange juice... the courses were lightly spicy fresh fish served with rice, sauté with fresh vegetable, and for dessert a coconut cake... I began to chat with Dorla, who for the whole meal worried everything was all right and that we didn't need more and finally we found all sitting speaking of the different cooking tradition of our two countries... all these for 7 $ each...

for breakfast (cooked on purpose before the nornal time as an early tour at mayan ruins awaited for us): homemade Creole bread, eggs with a sligthly spicy sauce, a dish with sliced bananas, butter and homemade cashews jam (tasting half way between plum and apple and... tasty), fresh orange juice, coffee, 3$ each...
