I noticed the colors of Belize houses, apartments and business establishments, commercial buildings are painted in strong colors: Green, Yellow, Orange and Blue. These are the Carribean colors.The schools are also painted in strong colors.
Travelling in Belize District, you will find that a lot of the lands are enundated with water and some of the houses are built three feet above the ground because some areas are swampy. The lands are unproductive.There is not a lot of agricultural land in Belize and this affects the prices of prime commodities. There are not a lot of fruits and vegetables in the market and the prices of food are a little bit on the pricy side.Most of the products of Belize are from the neigboring countries.
Most of the schools in Belize District wear uniforms which is really nice because it saves the parents money. The public schools are mixed.
