 | San Pedro Nightlife | Tips 1 - 8 of 8 | | We decided to go into San Pedro Town for a bit of nightlife and we didn't realize that everything really starts well after 12am, except at Fido's where everything starts early and ends early too! Fido's is a bar/restaurant with live entertainment and a rowdy crowd as well. We decided to make our way to the bar for a few drinks before deciding where else to go when we bumped into someone we had seen on the Ferry ride into San Pedro. We chatted with Ann Marie for about an hour while killing some time before moving on with Ann Marie to our 2nd destination of the night.

This club was the last of our stop for the night and was actually recommended by every local we met. Apparently, this is really the only "true-club" in San Pedro and you will definitely mix it up here with locals and visitors alike. I did notice a lot of young (16-19) year old locals so I am not sure if they do any type of checking for ID, but they were well behaved, just out having some fun. The music is a mix of everything you will find in clubs these days, espeically main stream music. They played a lot of latin, raggae and other sounds for the crowd. The drinks were reasonable and the dance floor was pretty large. We had a good time and before we knew it it was time to make our way to the dock for the last Ferry out of San Pedro Town.

Ann Marie mentioned to us this little Latin club with great Spanish music (Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Regaton) so we decided to come by for a bit before heading to Jaguar's. There is no cover charge and we decided to check it out. The club is small with very dark (purple, red) walls with a dance floor that must be about 10x14 (probably only about 10 people can dance at one time). The bar is small and is located in towards the back of the club and there are a few sofas along the wall with a small sitting area with a flat screen tv. We walked in and decided to sit on one of the sofas and order a drink when the bar tender came over and chatted us up a bit. He then sent us some sort of blue drink in a shot glass which we were hesitant to try. Miriam and I took a quick sip and left the rest, Ann Marie decided to skip it. We stayed here for about 1 hour, dancing with each other (the place was empty, except for 4 other ladies) and watching a kick-boxing-kick ass competition. The place was quite dead and we were quite disappointed, but figured it was still early. We then made our way to Jaguar's at about 12:00 am.

Place your Bets!! The pier lounge and the Restaurant Caliente share the same building on front Street.Wednesday Nights they host a Chicken Drop on the beach.Tickets cost a dollar a piece and just as the name implies they drop a chicken in the pen and whichever number he decides to "drop" on gets the $100 collected.

This is THE place for live music on the island. Some nights its Reggea and some nights it's island style classic rock . This is also a place to get out of the sun for a few hours in the afternoon.Have a few adult beverages under the shade of the huge palapa roof overhead.Eat some fritters and have a few Belikans while you people watch the comings and goings on the waterfront out back.
