We had a guide take us on a 2-1/2 hour, 18 mile trip down the Belize River in a canoe. This was a great way to really get into the dense jungle. Also, since a canoe is relatively quiet, you won't scare the animals away. So a canoe trip is a good oppotunity to see some local wildlife.

Horses work hard taking you through the jungle. Be sure to give them a break once in awhile.

We rode horses up into the jungle. Never leaving the Iguana Creek Resort property, we rode and hiked for 3 hours.
