Corozal is a very peaceful and quite Town. Many People think there is no fun but let me tell you. Corozal Town has archaelogical site(Santa Ruin) that can be visited located 20 minutes from town driving with own vehicle Beautiful Ruin. You may also visit Consejo Village 7 miles north of corozal Town.Consejo Shores is an attractive and peaceful residential area, bordering the crystalline water of the chetumal Bay. You find there a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good place to visit there is Smuggler Den and Casa Blanca.Another archaelogical site is Cerros is a short boat ride of approximately fifteen minutes from Corozal Town, where boats can be hired it is also accessible by a road through Copper Bank, where a hand cranked ferry allows access across the New River.Night Life you may visit Catus Plaza on weekends they have dance and good mexican food you may also visit Romantic Restaurant eat at the restaurant and luckily of you are a guest at Mirador Hotel You can go on the Terrace and do your own Party with foods and Drinks.

Not much to say about Corozal. It's fairly small with the usual Belizean mixture of cheap Chinese food, taco stands, and small shops. Only one Mayan ruin, and not a big one at that.

Small quiet town on the coast

As soon as I saw this town I knew I was going to like it. It is on the coast, however it does not have a beach. Seaside is either stoney or asphalted. There is a small market, Zocalo, and one can feel...
