This was the possibly the best dinner we had during our whole trip in Belize. not only is the restaurant atmosphere very nice and unique (it looks like there is a tree coming through the middle of the restaurant), but the food was outstanding!

Elvi's Kitchen has sand floors, long picnic tables, and a tree growing up through the middle of the dining room.
You can get burgers, fried fish platters or steak.
The atmosphere is first, food is second.

Many town shops and restaurants are geared towards tourism however they remain very local in feel. .....
We did eat at a few restaurants, Elvi's,Fido's, Celi's,(Ramon's, Capton Morgans,
Mata Chica are talked about in the resort info/review) .

Elvis in San Pedro Town is great. Clean, and
very cheap. I would highly recommend for lunch.
Sand floors, extremely clean, and wonderful staff that are very attentive.

Favorite Dish: The special of the day.
