Italian Gelato Ice Cream at the Tuttifrutti Italian Ice Cream Parlor!
Tiziana De Col, Laurent Testa, and Alessandro Missinato originally came to Placencia on vacation. They decided to come back and start a business.
Tiziana and Laurent operated an ice cream parlor back in Rome, Italy. They combine Italian and Belizean products to create different flavors.
Favorite Dish: Banana.

This place was along the main road (not the sidewalk) in town and hard to miss because it's brightly painted. I think an Italian woman runs it, and it's one of the few air conditioned places in town. The cheapest cup of ice cream was about US$1.50, and I think most of the people in my group went there more than once in the 48 hours we were there.
Favorite Dish: All of the flavors are good - I especially liked the tiramisu.

Lorenzo runs a nice little gelateria. He had some nice tropical flavors as well as the traditional. After dining at Wendy's, walk right across the street for a nice treat.
