Fischer's Cove Rstaurant: Fresh Jonny Cakes & even fresher seafood
Right there at the hotel where I was staying happened to be one of the more highly recommended moderately priced restaurants, Fischer's Cove. As you can see from the photo, the view was non-stop gorgeous to boot, with a great vantage point for sunsets.
Afterwards, you can belly up to the beach bar to chat with Kima or Noel while they serve you Pina Coladas for dessert, or you can stretch out in a hammock in the hotel gardens to digest that good meal (photo attached).
Favorite Dish: Mama Norma makes some great conch fritters if you've a mind to try them ( nicely complemented by a fresh green salad & a cup of lobster chowder). The menu brags that they are "Award Winning Conch Fritters", and I believe them - they were very fresh & tasty in flavor, fried just till tender!
You can also get a lovely grilled seafood dinner, offering whatever fish catch is in season, or even steaks if you prefer.

Mad Dog Bar: Mad Dog Bar--an alternative
Ok, let's say the top of the Baths just wasn't your scene. Too crowded, didn't like the band...whatever. There's an alternative. They don't have much, but they make a pretty mean hot dog or sandwich and the prices are cheaper then the glitzy "Top of The Baths". This places is basically a little wood shack (clean though) and they serve out mostly cocktails and beers and soda's, but it's relaxing and more low key then the Top of The Baths. But eh selection of eats is extremely limited!
Favorite Dish: I had a hot dog and it suited me fine. Menu changes quite a bit on a whim. I believe you also can score sandwiches as well here. If they have a local dish, I highly suggest you try it. It's probably pretty good.

Top of The Baths: Top of the Baths--Touristy but cool!
First of all, there are no real tourist traps on this island. But if you want to be where all the tourists are at the end of the day---this is the place. BUT, it's a great place! The food is good, not to spendy and they usually have a live entetainment show going on, which tends to be decent. After you've walked your legs off and seen all you want to see, climb up, grab a chair and wait for your cab here. It's a great way to wind down at the end of a great day.
Favorite Dish: I had a Conch burger and it was pretty darn good. Flying fish also seems to be a common item in the BVI and if you like a fish sandwich---get one. They are tasty.
