Because that is what Cayman is all about. Enjoy your day.............Go to bed early and enjoy the next day. You'll save alot of money that way. We have been there many times and going again. It is not an inexpensive island, but obviously worth the money................... Again, after Aruba, I must say, just be careful............Been there too, AND we did NOT like the feeling of that island.............
It's all good..............

It became apparent by day 2 of our trip that we needed to convert our U.S. currency over to CI dollars. Few places would give you change in U.S. dollars so you might want to put items on your plastic or just convert your money.

It's seven years good luck to kiss a Stingray, and I could really use that luck. At first the rays seem a bit intimidating, but after being in the water a few minutes around them it's actually pretty cool. The real fun starts when you bring out the squid to feed them. These creatures eat by sucking to food right out of your hand, and it's likely one will suck your arm or hand. Don't worry, they have no teeth. Their mouths feel more like rough sandpaper. When holding one you've got to keep their head under water. Always hold them from the front. Let the ray rest gently on your outstretched arms, while you relax. If you lift their heads out of the water you'll get a stingray shower as they blow water out of their mouths. Leave a Comment

Possibly the best standard of living of the islands in the Caribbean. This might be perhaps due to the numerous foreign banks and investments from elsewhere. Nice medium to high quality shopping and touristy restaurants in town. Lots of activities on, in, and under the water. Numerous hotels of moderate to high quality yet still affordable. Popular place to fly into for a long weekend, or stop for the day by cruiseships. Still a British flavor on the island. Great rum, rum cakes, jewelry, perfumes, and usual fare for shopping.
