by diver-x I don't think Grand Cayman is really a night-life kind of spot. If you're into partying, try Miami's South Beach instead. Grand Cayman caters to retired folks, cruise ships and divers. None of which are likely to be out clubbing at 2 am. My favorite night activity was night-snorkeling. Grab your snorkel gear and an underwater flashlight and head for the nearest reef! Live music Wednesday to Saturday at an outdoors beach bar with dancing under the stars. The house band is Coco Red who plays reggae, soca, merengue, Top 40's. There's a good mix of locals and tourists.

by slabeaume Friday night Peter Bacon was back. He's canadian born, and a very friendly guy. He adds a lot of humor to his show and was just as good the 2nd time as he was the 1st time. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by slabeaume TUes night was a comedy dinner and karaoke party---which we missed both of unfortunately. We had gone into Georgetown that day. But we later found out that the current Morritt's activity director, Ken Evans, had previously travelled all over performing a comedy act. He is from Chicago and another very interesting fellow to talk to. Shortly after our trip, we learned that Ken will no longer be the director there. The previous one is returning. I guess I'll have to go back and see if he is as good! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by slabeaume We spent most evenings at the Morritt's enjoying the planned activities of the evening. Sat. night we went to the bar for the 'Last Days of Disco' 70's party with games, prizes and name that year trivia contest. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by slabeaume Wed. night we were back enjoying the 'island-Slide Jammin' party in the Morritt's bar---more games and prizes and free raffle tickets and discount drink tickets. My daughter even won a rum cake for scoring well on the name that tune contest. After that party was over, we went to the patio and enjoyed the entertainment of Peter Bacon on the keyboard. There isn't a lot of nightlife on the island, but there are a few beach bars along Seven Mile Beach that can be fun. Some of them have live music (steel drums) and all of them can make a great Mudslide
Casual, in the winter it can be chilly though with the on-shore breeze. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

Just a few years ago if you asked some-one where the night life was, they'd laugh at you. There was nothing but local hang-outs, but that has all changed now. I'm still partial to cuddling on the beach, but if you live a fast-paced life and want to move... the best club is Sharkeys. It is incredibly well air-conditioned and that's important on a hot night. There's a good dance floor where tourists and locals mix... It's pretty hoppin' most nights.
Clubing clothes... That means no flip-flops. You have to be wearing a shirt, shoes, and well pants for that matter. In other words don't look like you just crawled up for the beach after a day of playing in the sand.
