Bob Soto's Diving by jonkaren3 Of course, some of the best diving in the world. The variety and abundance of dive sites make Cayman a diver's paradise.
Bring your own, or rent. It seems like everyone dives in Cayman. There are many many dive shops on the island. Theme: Scuba DivingAddress: All over the Island

The Links is a world-renowned golf course designed by Roy Case. This is another 18-hole par 71 course by the water. It won the Best Golf Course in the Caribbean Award by Caribbean World magazine for fife years strait, and it's easy to see how. I have never golfed there (or anywhere for that matter) but its sprawling landscape and gentle sea breezes lured my family in one day for lunch at the Links Clubhouse. My brother and father ended up golfing the course and raved about it the next day. My father claimed it was one of the best courses he's ever seen. Although my brother was pleased with it he still liked the Hyatt course better.
Normal golf-course type of things... clubs, balls, shoes, clothes. Leave a Comment Theme: GolfingAddress: West Bay RoadPhone: 345-949-5988Directions: Five miles from George Town off Seven Mile Beach

Golfing at Sunset gets you a Reduced Rate by bluewilldo Admittedly I have never golfed, but my oldest brother has always raved about the Britannia 18-hole course at the Hyatt Regency. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus and can be played as either a 58- or 72- par course. Also a 9-hole course is available if you're short on time or patience. Still a new venue the Britannia is technologically up-to-date. My brother claims to be a good golfer but admits this is a challenging course due to its oversize bunkers. None the less, he loves it and attempts to spend every waking moment there. It's open from 8:00 to 17:00 every night.
Obviously bring golf clubs, balls, and suitable shoes if you have them... If you don't, I believe they can be rented. However, proper attire is required. Men need a shirt with collar and sleeves, and women need a shirt with collar and sleeves. Shorts are allowed, but they can't be too short. T-shirts, Halter tops, cut-offs, jeans, and swimsuits are not allowed. If you wear golf shoes must have soft spikes. Leave a Comment Theme: GolfingAddress: Seven Mile BeachPhone: 345-949-8020

One of several hungry morey eels at Stingray City by jonkaren3 I know, I know, it's STINGRAY city! But, I don't want to miss mentioning the interaction with the green morey eels found here as well! This was our first time diving Stingray city. All of our prior visits were snorkeling the sand bar. We paid the big bucks and got a DVD of our experience, filmed and edited by Chris Brandson, since our entire family of five was scuba diving! Our 8 year old became a PADI SEAL and was waiverd to dive Stingray city! So cool, to see her equalizing and swimming with the stingrays! Our 14 and 17 year olds had completed (for the 4th time!) a resort course on the trip and were able to dive too! So, that's two parents and three children all diving together- great memory! We were proud first returning overnight tourists to Cayman post Ivan.

Stingray City by TravelSimone Stingray City is the spot off of Grand Cayman where there are what seems to be hundreds of stingrays. It is amazing to snorkle amoung them. They swim right under you and you can actually feel their skin as they brush against your legs.
Just a boat and snorkle equipment. There are a lot of boats that do trips out there. They will provide you with your snorkle gear- or you can bring your own. Leave a Comment Theme: Scuba Diving

by TravelSimone The Cayman Islands are well known as a great place to dive. The water is warm (30C) with great visibility (30+M). Leave a Comment Theme: Scuba Diving

We are doing the required scooter practice run by jonkaren3 This was a cool and different recreational dive offered by Divetech. It is a guided shore dive where we used underwater scooters to travel 1.2 miles from Cobalt Coast Resort to the other Divetech shop at Turtle Reef on one tank of air! It was pretty cool to travel so far, for so long (1 hour) and only use up one tank! The dive is multi-level, with the boat following for those (like my husband) who suck up their air and don't make the whole trip!!
You can rent all gear including computers from Divetech. It is required that you have used a scooter prior to the WBX. Theme: Scuba DivingAddress: West Bay Grand Cayman BVIDirections: North of the Turtle FarmWebsite: http://www.divetech.com/
