I went to Scarlett while I was visiting San Jose, Costa Rica. A friend of mine heard about that club who recently opened. I have to say that I really had a great time. The music and the girls were awesome and phenomenal.
You will have a lot of fun is you go there... trust me! Scarlett is the place to go! on a Friday and Saturday night in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

some strip joint in san jose....some guys from my hotel..brought me around the city one night.. they took me to some random strip place..
the unique qualities, were the fattes women i have ever seen in tiny silver shiny string bakin's... ewww.. stretchmark city.. everything i hope i never turn into.. was there.. and they were ugly old fat chicks sitting on nasty american men who were probably there on business.. yah right!.. putting your dollars in some fat strippers folds.. nasty..
i laughed really loud and ran out laughing so hard.. it was the funniest most pathetic place.. yah those guys that took me there were laughing so hard.. and then they took me to bar that was a hotel.. and a brothel.. and a crack house too.. we left pretty fast.. it was full of american men in there 40's .. business looking guys.. and people selling drugs..

El pueblo in San Jose is the one of the most active place for locals looking for nightlige. Travellers are well accepted, and you can have a lot of fun, it is like a small village with plenty of bars and restaurants.

If you want nightlife like Cancun or Hawaii; then Costa Rica is not the place for you. We were around the beach cities around the Nicoya peninsula, mostly people sit around and eat and drink at night, there are some places that try to be like discos playing loud music outside to attract visitors but they are pretty weak.
If you are not exhausted at night from diving, hiking, kayaking, etc, then there is something wrong with your itinerary! Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

Plant Mall claims to be the largest club in Central America -- which it probably is. Drinks are a little expensive (for CostaRica) but it has a good atmosphere and many locals.

In San JoseAs a student in 98, one of our favorite places was El Pueblo, a group of bars and restaraunts catering to the college crowd. El Infinito parties till dawn with three rooms of reggae, rock, and latin music. The mixed clientele varies from drug dealers to business men and is a great place for almost anyone to have a good time. Coyote in the San Pedro district is another good spot for drinking and live music. There are also many other clubs in San Pedro. Don't miss the coastal nightlife! Montezuma, Tamarindo, Jaco, and Quepos and have rocking 'low budget- uncomercialized' nightlifes that you will never forget. Palm thatched huts fitted with enormous speakers and beer flowing like there's no tommorow. No need at all for a shirt or shoes! For a little more civilized and very romantic night, head to the Beach bar of the Best Western in Jaco the torches are lit as the sun sets on the crashing waves and the reggae begins to play. This bar is located about 3 stories up from the street. It apparently made it on the show "wild on " with Brook burke. However, there was no one there when we went. But since it was located so high up, there was always a cold breeze to go with my Imperial beer.

The bets place for electronic music. More expensive than the other bars, but it is worth it. Great music and also the food is good. Good spot for dancing, drinking, eating, meeting interesting people, etc. Definately my best pick.
