While in La Fortuna we went to two bars in the area and both were a blast. The first was set in what looked like a large barn, and it served lots of the locals, and more of the mid-adult range. There was a karaoke set-up in both English and Spanish and it was a blast, if your in town definately check that place out.
There is also a discotecha in town which was a lot of fun. Everyone there is really friendly and curious to meet and mingle. If you haven't already, might be good idea to pick up some salsa skills cause the locals sure know how to boogie
drank at a few bars, went to this one club where everyone knew how to dance (and how to dance salsa..bit intimidating for a person who doesnt know) and played so pool...wasnt very crazy just relaxing and nice to chill

This place was just excellent. It a gathering place for both (younger) tourists and locals. They have several thermal pools and one of them serving as a swim-up bar.
