Toiletries and Medical Supplies: With a weak stomach constitution, you may get a upset stomach/Montezuma's revenge/something. I know you're not supposed to because the water is good, but ....believe me--you will. So bring along a handful of tums, or some alka-seltzer, or something. You can always buy it there too like I did.

A few tips on packing lists.

by Snipernurse Written Jun 3, 2008

Luggage and bags: An extra duffle bag to carry around all the suvenirs you might buy.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Water sandals for white water rafting. The river bank is rocky and some walking is required. Swim trucks for rafting and for hot springs. Hiking shoes for hiking around Arenal.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun Screen. First Aid Kit. Skeeter repellent. Baby Wipes.

    Photo Equipment: Lots of it!

Binoculars are great to have in Arenal (Fortuna)

by SumTingWong Written May 21, 2003

Luggage and bags: Like I normally suggest, pack as light as possible. My general rule is to pack 1/3 less the amount of clothes you think you need and 1/3 more the amount of money you think you need.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You should have some comfortable walking shoes, but hiking boots are not really necessary for visiting Arenal Nat'l Park. Sturdy sandals are good to have too.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Basic stuff, a mini med kit is always great to have.

Photo Equipment: CAMERA! and lots of film.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: BINOCULARS were the best plus to have! You can see the rim of the volcano up close and see lava comming out, especially at night!
