What I found very surprising in Orosí was that I couldn't find a single store there where you could actually buy some of the locally produced coffee. You would expect some nice coffee houses here with the "real black gold" to drink and for sale, but nothing of that.
In fact I ended up buying a bag of coffeebeans in the local supermarket. Purely coincidently there also was some of the local coffee, but even foreign coffee is being sold here. The coffee is not cheap by the way: for a small bag of 500 grams I paid something like 4 dollars.
