Pick up on arrival

Since this was our very first trip to Costa Rica, we were quite happy to learn that someone would be at the airport to meet us upon our arrival. That is included in the package if you are going to be staying at the Rancho Naturalist.We were met by a friendly guy named Jay. He was from the US so he spoke fluent english.It was a 2 1/2 hour drive from the airport to the ranch. Much of it was on bumpy, rutted, dirt roads.I was glad I was wearing a sports bra.

Flight to SJO

We have flown non-stop from DFW to San Jose on American Airlines. We also flew on Continentalonce, changing planes in Houston.As you leave the airport, heading back home, you may fly over the crater of Poas Volcano.
