Tuesday night at Yucca Bar

Tuesday nights the Yucca Bar at the Hotel Pasatiempo hosts an open mike night featurnig local bands that play mostly covers of everything from The Clash to Aretha Franklin, to Santana.

Aqua Discoteche: girls and bottles in the middle of nowhere!

there are plenty of bars in tamarindo and i think we went to every one. But the only i would say is Jersey style was the only club there called Aqua. They gave us bottles for only $125.we got on the stripper poles and have videos to prove it. The local girls get up on the bar and pour free booze in your mouth total spring break style. Love it. Us Jersey boyz definitely left a mark there and will be back!

Dress Code: its in front of the beach. beach style was perfect. I think Justin took his shirt off on the pole and was asked to put it back on! Ha!

Where-ever there's a live band playing the whole town goes to party. Each night, a different place. I attended a couple. At the Monkey Bar on friday nights at the Best western, and at my hotel, the Pasatiempo on Tuesdays. Anything goes! :)

Dress Code: Anything goes again! :)

Friday nights at Monkey Bar are awesome... they have a live band on one side and a DJ on the other... the bar is definitely a must see... I seriously think EVERYONE in Tamarindo goes... and I'm not kidding... so much fun... its part of the Best Western.

Dress Code: casual... completely could go with bathingsuit on under clothes or a beachy sun dress and rainbows (flipflops)

Great Cigar Lounge & Factory
They make their own cigars and they have an excellent supply of cigars. A great wine shop great prices and coffee shop. Great place to drink coffee in the afternoon w/ cigars. The best wine list in Tamarindo. When I was there they had a wine tasting event for an argentinian wine company. They had tango dancers. Oh one more thing they have A/C and leather chairs. Also a nice deck to sit out. They showed me some reviews in cigar aficionado magazine of their cigars and I was impressed. Great place to go!!!! I recommend it.

Tamarindo definately has the most nightlife in the northern pacific side of the country. There is still much more to do in Jaco then here but Tamrindo has its fair share of bars and mini-clubs. Each night people flock to a different place so just ask the locals where to go and it will be packed with people drinking.

Don't shut off your air conditioner at night. the floors in the room are tile and will accumulate condensation. When you get out of bed, you will slip and fall on your butt!
