Mostly the ship tours took us away from the port, but there was also a small shopping area right there. We were there on a Sunday, so I don't know how many stores in town would be open, but apparently the people who went out in town saw a parade - the video that was shot showed a school marching band playing.

The bus driver stopped at a local market and bought some produce and brought it on board to demonstrate. He bought a cocoa pod and showed us the beans, and lady finger bananas
