I'm not a " bird watcher" but I enjoyed seeing all the colourful birds on the Atlantic Coast. These Blue- Gray Tanagers were always there munching on bananas near our breakfast table at our hotel!

I read there were 44 nationalities present in Puerto Viejo and sitting on a street side table ...I´d say its true . Nice when you´re sipping a cool drink to take in the livelyness of the town!!

We attended the funeral of a friend here. What an incredibly upbeat ceremony! So much singing, clapping, amens etc. I found myself tapping my toes much of the time.
