The roads are bad in most parts of Costa Rica.
Around Bahia Gigante most of the roads are gravel. which is O.K. except during the rainy season.
The bridges are even worse, in some areas , than the roads.
When we came to this bridge, my husband got out and walked across first to see if we really wanted to drive across it.
We made it !
Look out above you when you walk through the forested grounds around the condo. You never know what you might be missing if you don't.
We heard a slight noise, looked up and there was a Howler Monkey afew feet from us in the tree.
Every evening and around 4am we would hear them nearby howling.
It is such an amazing experience to here this wonderful sound.

Be prepared for long lines and waiting to get on the car ferry.
Go early to get a spot in line and then wait and wait.
