From the Rough Guide (because they expalin it better than I ever could): one of the most complete collections (1km²) of tropical plant species in the country.
we went on a sunday and there were some Cubans waiting at the entrance with horses. they asked if we wanted to visit the parc on a horseback wich we did. They explained a lot about the plants and showed us around.
They gave us a lot of mango's to take home with us wich they actually weren't allowed to do but did anyway. They only asked for $3 pp.
