This parque in Cienfuegos is the former Plaza de Armas.
It is a large open space is the center of the city and is marked by ground plaque in the middle of the square.
On one side of the Parque Marti is the provincial government building, Palacio del Ayuntamiento.
At the entrance to the park is the Archo de Triunfo, which is the only arch of triumph in Cuba.

When you sit in the parque which is located in the square, all around you are places of intesrest. In the parque there are fountains , beautiful trees and flowers, a band stand and lots of seating areas from which to enjoy the scenery.

Plaza Marti is a large, pleasant space with a gazebo and shady benches. Unfortunately, it was the only place I ran into a really persistent beggar, and I didn't linger as long as I wanted to.

The Park in Cienfuoegos is really beautiful and the buildings surounding it is so well kept. It´s really a nice place.
