Anyway you will go somewhere and feel the old mood.
You certainly listen cuban music and smell the air of Havana.
Fondest memory: As it turned out, I was here.
23 y L , La esquina mas popular de la Habana, frente esta la heladeria Coppelia, cine Yara, Hotel Habana Libre, y una tienda de cd's de musica cubana.
De noche punto de reunion de encuentro de gays.
Favorite thing: If you can't take pictures...its' woth it to buy a load of postcards to preserve your memory.... the city if fabulously picturesque !!!!
Favorite thing: Like everywhere, kids are so lovely in Havana - it's just a bit sad to see them in the streets with no toys to play with. .
Favorite thing: Do not miss a ride with the coco taxi.....one of the most economic ways of transport, together vith the Panataxi.....
Favorite thing: Do not miss a visit there! La casa del agua sells purified well's water....a strange taste....not so bad! but when you're thirsty...believe me....and in August it's so hot there!
Walk, walk, walk.
And of course get hold of one of the old cars and drive around the city (cost: USD 10 for 1-2 hours)
Fondest memory: Buying cigars in the backroom of a house - super deal!
Have a few moments to yourself in one of the town squares, there seems to be one at the end of every street!
Watch out for beggars though, they can be persistent and rather annoying.
Favorite thing: In Havana there was more greenery than I thought there would be. This is overlooking the river towards the cathedral.
Favorite thing: In the museum there is also a memorial to Naval officers who may have died whilst either at sea or in battle. I could not understand Spanish so I had a little difficulty understandng everything.
Favorite thing: I deeply suggest you to walk all along the streets of Havana and visit each of its neighborhoods. It is a unique experience.
