  • Tropicana

    Havana Nightlife

Tropicana is a little expensive to go to but i think that you should go there if you are in Havana. The music is good, the costumes is fantastic and the artists are very good. No special dresscode but people coming there tend to have nice evening clothes on.

  • Casa de la Musica

    Havana Nightlife

A big stage with bands playing, in front of it the dance floor and around the dance floor tables/seats and bars. Very good atmosphere a good place to practize your salsa skills, or just dance the night away. There is no special dress code.

I appreciate the historical connection this old Havana bar has to the world in regards to its association with famed author Ernest Hemingway. I've always liked finding cafes, plazas, and old hotels where famous historical figures spent time while in these various cities. Apparently old Hemingway enjoyed more than a few nights hanging out in El...

    Havana Nightlife

Can't really describe how I felt that night at the Habana Cafe. It was a mixture of feelings and all of them positive ones. I found myself looking around the place and dreaming of the past. The interior decoration will transport you back to the 50's or before. I love vintage cars and photography, good live music and drinks, so this was for me a...

Located at the Hotel Nacional, this venerable cabaret show is a vibrant and extravagant spectacle. Still, it will always play second fiddle to the Tropicana, which trumps it in terms of size and setting. Nevertheless, the show here is less expensive, and certainly more convenient

  • La Zorra y el Cuervo Jazz Club

    Havana Nightlife

If you like Jazz music then Cuba is the place to go! The latin inspired Jazz is incredible -AND I DON'T EVEN REALLY LIKE JAZZ . There are two main clubs in Havana, the Jazz Cafe on the Malecon, a large and modern second floor club. And La Zorra y El Cuervo on La Rampa, a small smoky atmospheric basement place on La Rampa. Anything

  • Pico Blanco - Rincón del Feeling

    Havana Nightlife

We had long wondered what this club was about after watching it alight many nights atop the 14th floor of the St. John's Hotel in Vedado. It was a really fun place, packed with mostly young Cubans and a mix of reggueton, salsa, Euro-club music and a bit of (funny and annoying) Cuban karaoke. On a weekend, it was 10 CUC entrance per person but this...

  • The Malecón

    Havana Nightlife

Yes, you have to go to the Bodeguita and have your Mojito and go to the Floridita to have your Daquiri (as Hemingway did). You can even get fancy and see a show at the Tropicana or some of the best salsa bands at the Casa de la Musica. But once you have done that just head to the Malecon, sit down with a bottle of Havana Club and enjoy the views...

  • La Bodeguita del Medio'

    Havana Nightlife

This place is and will no doubt continue to be Cuba's best known bar. For afficionados of Ernest Hemmingway it may be worth a visit but beyond that it is stunningly unremarkable. The bar area at the front is very small and if they get a dozen people in there it is like being a sardine. There's a restaurant area round the back where the have the...
