Stay on the beach, and visit the city!
The beaches are breath taking in Holguin and the temperature tends to be the best in this part of Cuba year round. In Holguin, since it is the dryest area in the country, you will have the least chance of precipitation regardless of the season. Also, there is no humidex factor!! Put your lotion on, whatever you are doing, because you will burn, burn, burn...

The people in cuba are poor but so nice and unbelievably happy with so little. Their hospitality incredible.
Buying the couterfiet cuban cigars and watching them unravel in our mouths as we tried to smoke them. What a laught. The best fun and entertainment yet. I don't think any one of us regretted buying them just for the fun it gave us in the end. Nights of guessing if they were real or not and laughing at the sight of us trying to smoke them.
