Cuba does not offer the tourist shopping that you might see in other areas. Outside the grounds of Club Amigo is a tourist market and the resort offers a couple of gift shops.
Generally you will find the usual items, although tshirt and other clothing sizes are often limited.
Prices are set and very little bargaining is done. Generally speaking prices are very similar. A good deal can be found in liquors, expecially creme de menthe, rum etc.
What to buy: Rum
Liquor
What to pay: $3-6 pesos a bottle, depending on the product.

Its worth taking a trip to the local market for your holiday souvenirs. The market is not a particularly big one, approx 20 stalls. You can find some nice handmade jewellery, wooden crafts, lace, acrylic/oil paintings.
Whilst some bartering can be done please remember that the Cubans are on very low incomes and the stalls are their livelihood.
