A Martinair plane

Well this is a little forhandy ....(this is no good englisch) but from holland to cuba there is only one way !! And thats the plain.
If you are in Cuba you can rent a car and you can drive where you want to go. It is not that expensive. But take care wich cat you rent. A jeep is nice, but several times the gas will come from the backside inside the car and on the end of the day you will have a headacke. And the roads are not so well either, but that you can compare by driving very slow and see a lot of Cuba.
Well i told that in the first frase. Just rent a car for 12 hours or a moped. You can go every where you want but be at home before dark !!!

You can fly righ into Holguin from most cities that offer packages in this area. Holguin is however, about 45-50 min. from the coast and it will take you this long to get to the resort area. The airport is very close to the city though. Some flight from Europe will take you into Havana and that you will be able to catch a smaller plane into Holguin.

My favourite way is with a moped. You can see the most, stop everywhere, take pictures on the way, wave to people...

You can rent a car and it is not cheap. depending at which resort you stay, they can run you about 70-120 USD per day.
The car rental option often works out if there are more people traveling together.
Bus is also a common way to get around. You can try and ride with the locals on the Cuban bus for a fun time, since all the tours organized at the hotel feature new, airconditioned, tourist-friendly buses!
