Taino Village

by aramat

The Taino Village is a life-sized sculpture garden depicting the everyday activities of Taino Indians in Villa Guama, which is located on small islands on Treasure Lake. It can only be reached by boat from Boca de Guama. It's an interesting concept, but the realisation is a bit tacky.

Crocodile

by aramat

Boca de Guama is a wetland area in the Zapata Peninsula where tourists can see crocodiles in a farm. It looks like most crocodile farms in the world and it's not difficult to feel sorry for the animals, but actually the farm's activities consist of a breeding program of the captive population and the management and protection of the wild population in the nearby swamp

CUEVAS DE BELLAMAR

by MaryLou123

River Conimar

by blusky

There are boats that you can rent and trying to be gondollier you can do a nice boat ride (rowing by your own strenghts) on the river, surrounded by jungle

Cow

A man riding a cow (and not a horse) was an unusual sight for me, but the animal was obviously used to it.
