Beware of the people who work at Via Azul Santiago

When you arrive at the via azul terminal in santiago, you are either in a hurry to buy a ticket or just leave after long trip from habana. please be careful as there are many people who are watching your movements and in one such moment when your defenses are down gone is your bag or money jacket or something else.
Recently I was relieved of my wallet, my ticke and my credit cards at the bus station. I became aware of it only when the bus was already past guantanamo and when we reached Baracoa, there was a distressed italian tourist whose money had also been stolen at the same station and around the same time. the poor guy had to return to santiago by the same bus he came in. But I decided to stay in Baracoa, it is after all my cuban home and I am not going to let a robbery stand in the way of love and affection of my friends welcoming me home
