    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Many men will want to be your friend and show you the best Casa or offer you a better taxi or anything else and they are very coersive. DON'T subscribe to this forced friendship it will cost you a drink, meal or much more. They will ask you for money every time and any service they provide will cost more than you should be paying. There are genuine Cubans that will not hassle you and these are the people you should be looking for. Women especially look out as the Cuban man is drawn to you like a magnet, just do your own thing and remember that it is your holiday. If you feel under pressure go and stand next to a policeman or in a hotel. My advice is that if you want a service or tuition do it through a regulated official setup, this includes taxis, places to stay and dance or drum lessons.
