rum,rum and more rum..we found that the rum at the airport was quite a bit cheaper than at the hotel shops.
we especially like the havana club..
anejo special and anejo 7..very good..we bought one coming into cuba to drink in our room with the coke in the mini bar.
ordinary havana club was about £3 a litre..the 7 year old was about £6..compared to sainsburys £12 and £18.. Leave a Comment Theme: Food and Drink

Avenida de Italia (Galiano) has some peso shops, as well there are High end stores
Remember to keep your receipt with you, as you leave the store, you may be asked to show your receipt. Other stores want you to leave your pack back at the front counter (re: shoplifting precautions).
I bought a few things in this area, or the street market at Plaza de Almas.
Cuban paintings are wonderful to have, and come in small sizes, reasonably prices. Wooden carvings, I have two 'ballerinas', ceramics, tshirts.
