Baseball game

If you are in Cuba during play offs and you just love baseball....then you don't have choice but to visit one of baseball staduims. I asked our cuban tour leader for ticket purchasing and she said that they have best seats for foreigners and price is 16 CUC.Later that day we mingle with some locals and they offer us to go together and buy ticket for 1 CUC?!?Got the clue?! :-)Along Cuba you'll see many children and teenager playing baseball in dust..really amazing.

Biking in Cuba

Hmmm...I used to do lot of biking in cuba. In the period od 1990 to 1995 it was the main way of tranpostation around the island because of the economical problems. After that many people turned again to public transport but many stayed with the bikes. I never had any problem with authorities. Just remember that there is an embargo in cuba so it will be really hard to find spare parts, and don´t even think about buying a decent bike there unless U´re prepared to give away a big amount of money. Renting could be another choice but there is not to much on that in cuba, there are few places and the bikes they rent are only for city movement and not for long rides. I think the best option is to bring your own bike and also loooot of spare parts. If U plan to do a long trip remember that outside Havana U will not find almost anything to repare your bike so take with U everything U think U´ll...

Getting around by bike - 3 Cuban locals guiding us safely through the city.On every bike - imported from China - the national Flag. This way of visiting is super - stops in every beautiful corner of Habana.North to south - west to east ! Mountain bikes "made in China"

RENT A BOAT !

On your way from Matanzas to Varadero, you will reach the bridge 'Puente de Bacunayagua'. Although it is part of a motorway-style highway, you can stop on the bridge. The view from the bridge across the 'Yumuri Valley' is great. Go down and rent a boat and just travel across the river .!!!!!!
