While Driving in Cuba

We rented a car in Santiago De Cuba and drove it all the way to Havana. Driving offered us all the flexibilities that we enjoyed. As transportation is one of Cuba's pains, you'd see a lot of hitchhikers out of each town, or anywhere on the road. It was our please to help some people out, though, for safety, we always tried to stop the car in front of single women or women with kids. Another fun is they also volunteered to give us free Spanish lessons and guidance of the road and local places. A road map is a must while driving in Cuba, as you don't see a lot of road signs for cities, or distances or speed limits. The one I had was bought in a bookstore in Havana. It was in English, surprisingly.
