	Nightlife in Dominica....Um...

Dominica isn't known for being a nightlife kind of place. Lots of people go to sleep early and head off once dark. However, I would imagine Rosseau and Portsmouth have some stuff going on. I heard there is only one functioning disco-tech. Not sure though. Portsmouth has an American medical school...so there might be some stuff there. Beware..some of the nightly bars are also places to pick up women...AKA Prostitutes.

If you are a disco/bar/nightlife lover, you better look someplace else. There is nothing to do in Dominica after dark - which lands over the island around 7.00PM.
But the sunset is fabulous and you can enjoy a nice dinner while taking in the wonderful colors as they change.

Most restaurants are casual.

	The Warehouse Disco: Dance, Dance, Dance

Just a five minute drive north of Roseau is the island's major dance club packed every Saturday. Recorded disco, reggae, and other music is played from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. in this 200 year old stone building once used to store rum. The cover is $12 EC/$4.45 USD.
