la casa del mofongo, Santo Domingo

I visited the restaurant with two high maintance characters that complaint about the AC inside.. so we had to eat outside. Not nice. since the restaurant is located in one of the busiest streets of Santo Domingo.

Favorite Dish: I had the Super fish Mofongo. The one that includes fish, conch and some other seafood. Delicious, and BIG. Most of us enjoyed it very much. However, my european companions weren't thrilled and didn't eat at all. Granted, it is a weird looking dish and might be "exotic" for certain people, but I believe it's not very smart to travel all the way the Dominican Republic to eat Italian or French!
try the Tostones and of course enjoy your meal with A Presidente Beer or a Ron!
