This is mostly for european travellers. I dont thing somebody would get to Domenican Republic from Europe...
Well, we travelled from Greece to Punta Cana with Air France using a connecting flight. Before you book anything, whatever your country is, look carefully offers of all airlines. There are flights from France, Spain, Germany, Holland and i might miss some. Do that long before your journey. Plan it early, you will get better prices. Ask your travel agent for packages. Find and packages from other countries for the same hotel you want. It might be difficult, but you will do find a difference in the price.

GRAND PARADISE BAVARO PUNTA CANA AND ISLA SAONA
Have visited three times . We go to this resort mostly for the Beach. Food reasonable, good bacon for breakfast. Not a lot to do at this resort but taxi boats readily available on beach.
