  • The Comedor Luisa is a hole-in-the-wall family restaurant next to the baseball field in Constanza. We recently ate two meals there, and were astounded each time. Like all comedors, the choices were limited. But the food was plentiful and incredibly inexpensive. You'll enjoy large homemade portions of local specialties (Constanza is the breadbasket of the DR), including mangu (mashed plantains) and yucca.

    You will get what they serve. It's all good.
