All the food that I've tried was great! The atmosphere was beautiful, mountains,valleys and cute cottages. They have a large well kept pool area with a hot tub that really has hot water. Not common in the D.R. They offer horseback riding,rafting and many other adventures. Jarabacoa is a paradise and Rancho 2 rios is like an oasis. Come see for youself.

This open air restaurant provides a great view of the Parque Central, the economic and social center of Jarabacoa. The food is very good, and provides an excellent opportunity to try some of the Dominican specialties -- mangu, which is mashed plantains; monfongu - plantains with any number of additional items; and yucca. For Jarabacoa, it's a little high priced. Plan on about $10 per person.
Favorite Dish: Mangu is called the mashed potatoes of the Dominican Republic. It's great with everything.
