Pull up a chair and sit out on the sidewalk in this lively licor store cum bar. A massive array of drinks, including various wines, at licor store prices make it very popular.
El Aguadillano also has an extensive and good value cocktail menu. One of the latest additions is the "Osama Bin Laden" for 45 pesos. Go try it out if you're curious.

An indoor venue within La Gran Manzana complex. Music is more internationally orientated than most Dominican Clubs, with pop, reggae and techno accompanying classic merengue. There is a giant music video screen if you get bored.
Comfy sofas and a smallish dancefloor fill up this smart air-conditioned salon. Drinks are average - 40 pesos for a small beer, 50 pesos for a cuba libre.
Cover is 30 pesos - There is always some kind of offer on the drinks. For example, at present it is 150 pesos for an open bar between 8 - 2am
Dress Code: Smart casual.

Bonao's biggest and most stylised night spot. Covering almost half a block near the Parque Central, the venue is split between the open air Tequila Rancho Bar and the Leyasu discoteque upstairs.
The fun Tequila Rancho Bar has a variety of Mexican snacks and Mexican music such as Ranchero. Drinks are cheaper here than upstairs. The owners have gone all out on the wild west decor, including "wanted dead or alive" charicatures of some of the local celebrities.
Leyasu has established itself over 12 years as one of the major clubs in the DR. Every night features live music, often from the cream of Dominican Bachata, Merengue and Salsa groups. For this there is a small cover charge, but the music will continue pumping out until you so desire. Monthly programs are available from the office.
Dress Code: Bonao's partgoers like to dress to the hilt. The girls especially arrive very painted and pristine. For gents, slickness rather than over smartness seems to be the style.

An open air venue mainly used for party's, festivals, weddings etc. Quiet during the day, it kicks off on hire nights when live bands are brought in to play. In true Dominican style many private parties will warmly welcome stray tourists to join in with the festivities.
The club also has a restaurant, basketball court, childrens playground, pool tables and a games salon.
Contact the office for information about forthcoming events and costs for hiring the hall.
Dress Code: Depends on the event.
